Actually, parents should carefully explain their children o how to resolve their conflicts without implementing violence. In another study it has been found that mostly 71 percent boys are involved in violent behaviors. These are those boys who had some kind of risk factor. While those boys that have no risk factors, only 18 percent of them are involved in violent behaviors. Similarly, those girls with risk factors around 61 percent are involved in violent behaviors where as 7 percent of those girls who do not have any risk factor are involved in violent behaviors. In order to reduce violence among the youth everyone has to strengthen their families, increase positive relationships with the adults, improve academic performance and encourage a sense of connection with schools. It is also necessary to reduce weapon carrying, emotional distress, school problems and substance abuse. As parents all of them have the authority to reduce violence among the youth and enhance the children's lives.
